FAQ
What happens if the price of my products exceeds the legal limit - how do I change category from Low-Price FBA?
If the price of your product exceeds the threshold for low-rice FBA (which is 140 sek in Sweden), the product will automatically convert to standard FBA fees. You do not need to manually change the category, as Amazon's system continuously monitors pricing to determine which fee schedule applies.
Here is how the process works in detail:
1. Automatic adjustment: When you raise the price above 140 sek (including VAT), the standard Fulfillment by Amazon fee will be charged on the next sale.
2. No re-registration: The product remains in the FBA program but loses the discounted shipping rates associated with the Low-Price program.
3. Re-qualification: If you lower the price back to 140 sek or below, the product can automatically qualify for Low-Price FBA again, provided if still meets the weight and dimension requirements (e.g., max 960g and 33x23x6 cm).
